We braved the chance of rain and the ferocious attack by the sandflies - which are my nemesis because I HAD to edit them all out or it would have drove me nuts - and made it to my favorite field for family photos.

It's something to see.

When a family is so connected.

When they come to a session relaxed and excited to spend time together.

To have their photos taken together and not feel like they are pressured to do it because it's one more thing they have to check off their list - but because they truly WANT to...

to document that bond that only grows stronger.

And I'm the lucky one that both had the opportunity to document that for them, and learn from them.

It's getting to be fall whether we like it or not!

While I love the colors of the leaves, the crunching sound they make underfoot and The Toads pumpkin spice latte (mmmmm.....pumpkin spice...), I'm clawing tooth and nail to the last bits of nice weather before my nemesis returns....

Winter.

BLECH.

and the dreaded 'S' word.

double BLECH.
