Lauryn {Newborn}

This blog post is a little bigger than my usual posts as I had a super hard time choosing just a 'few' images to share with you all!

Ooohh, this little lady is loved!  I couldn't help but giggle to myself when mom and dad had the playful banter as to who she looked liked today...

Aww...she looks so much like you today...

Yeah, but she looked like you yesterday!

or smile when I heard

Oh, I can't believe she has changed so much already...

and when dad kept calling her his 'sweet pea'...

Yes, she is one hundred percent completely and absolutely adored.

And yes. it is pretty incredible, unbelievable really, just how fast they change in those first few weeks, let alone the first year.  It is also so amazing for me, that I was able to be a part of that and give you images that you can always look back at and say, 'Remember when...'

Thank You.

and Congrats again mom & dad....she's perfect.

Much Love,

CrystalB

Joey {One Year}

Little Joey is my most recent graduate from my Mini First Year Collection.  She had four photo sessions in her first year along with complimentary birth announcements and fine art prints from each session.  Digital images were chosen as a optional add on so her mommy & daddy would have every image form each of her sessions forever...

I absolutely loved watching little Joey grow up this year.  I just can't believe how fast it has gone by!  I'm sure mom and dad can't either...

Happy Birthday little one!

you. are. amazing.

March in upon us!

And as I sit here warm by the fire with coffee in hand while the snow gently fall outside, I am dreaming of sunshine and the smell of grass.

Spring will be here soon enough but never soon enough ;)

Here I am wishing away the days, but for most of you, you are wishing for them to last a bit longer. For them to stop growing so fast, (didn't you JUST buy that sleeper?).

For any momma of a new little person, it is a bittersweet struggle...

You want them to thrive and grow, gain weight each week and hit their milestones (even more excited when they do it earlier than expected) but in another way you wish that they could just stay little forever. For them to stay curled up on your chest, and never outgrow your arms...

Being a momma that has had her last baby, I can say that that feeling never goes away. For each stage in their life you always want them to succeed, but in the same moment want them to just stop...stop growing already.

The first year is the worst....and best. Your little on goes from complete dependance to complete independance in 12 short months. It's both sad and amazing at the same time.

Ya know what else is amazing?

That little baby grew from a single cell to a complex being in only 9 months(sometimes sooner!)....and you did that. THAT is amazing.

And to celebrate you and your amazingness - March is Maternity Month.
